Illume stuck his sword in the ground, grabbed his bow, nocked an arrow, and drew the string back. As his bow glowed from its magic, more light flooded the chamber, revealing a tunnel dug out of one of the darkened alcoves. The sound grew louder until the clattering of metal was added to the noises. Lori gasped, slung her staff over her back, and readied her bow as well.

“I’m not going to leave you to fight by yourself,” Lori argued.

The Plane Walker huffed. He didn’t want to give their position away to other guild members. The tone in Lori's voice told him she meant what she said and any arguing would just waste time they didn’t have. Opening his menu once more, he selected Nari to message. He prayed the traitor didn’t see it through the live stream.

“Nari, we have the final seal, but we’re being closed in on.

If we retreat, they’ll have us at a dead end.

Use your pathfinding to bring Ingrid and

Shinima to us so we can bring a quick end to this fight.”
